The **Bestech Riverstone BL03D** is a knife suited for EDC use. The knife was designed by Frank Grissom. It is a small but robust knife, making it a real workhorse. The knife weighs only 120 grams, making it feel great in hand. The finish of this knife is great. As such it is also a very beautiful knife to look at. 

The Bestech Riverstone opens with the help of a flipper, but it is also enhanced with a thumb hole. The ball bearings are oiled. As such the knife is very easy to open. When opened, the blade is locked by a liner lock. You can tell from all angles that the knife is properly finished. Despite this finish, the knife is very reasonably priced.

The blade is made from American 154CM steel. This type of steel was originally designed for aircraft engine turbine blades, but today it is widely used for knives. A positive quality of this type of steel is that it retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen. This type of steel, however, is not completely corrosion resistant. The handle is made from micarta.
