The **Benchmade SOCP 4.5** is a training knife, made according to the design of the Benchmade SOCP pocket knife. Perfect during trainings when working with a real knife could be really dangerous. The handle is made from the same CF-Elite like the 'real' knife, the blade is made from 440C steel. Of course it was not sharpened.

Enttäuschender Gesamteindruck. Dieses CF Elite, der ganze Griff fühlt sich nicht wertig, nicht hart und stabil an, die Griffhälften lassen sich relativ leicht mit der Hand zusammendrücken. Das Griffgefühl ist mir viel zu weit weg von Metall, was mein Favorit ist.

Schwerpunkt ist deutlich zu weit vorne finde ich, ich muss annehmen dass das scharfe Messer genauso ist (sonst wäre es nicht dessen "Trainer"), was mich sehr wundert.

Dieser "Axis Lock" ist schlecht, oder ich habe ein schlechtes Exemplar erwischt. Beim zackigen, schwungvollen Öffnen rastet der Lock ein, und lässt sich nur mühsam zweihändig wieder lösen, besonders weil eine Seite vom Stift vom Clip verdeckt ist und man nur von einer Seite mit einen Finger/Daumen herumwerkeln kann.

Wie gesagt, der Gesamteindruck rechtfertigt den Preis bei weitem nicht, sehr schade weil Marke und Optik vielversprechend waren.
