The **Bark River Mini Kalahari Sportsman** is a fine hunting knife designed for filleting fish. The handle is ergonomically shaped, so it is perfect for long-term use. The blade has a thin grind, ideal for filleting fish. 

The blade is made from CPM 154, a premium type of stainless steel that retains its sharpness well. As you'd expect from Bark River, the knife is razor-sharp. The edge has been enhanced with a convex grind which you can maintain by [stropping it](/en/ct/stropping.htm).

The handle is made from Desert Ironwood. This is a type of hardwood mainly found in the United States and Mexico. It has a distinctive colour and a beautiful grain. This great type of wood makes the knife look extra luxurious.

The Bark River Mini Kalahari comes with a leather belt sheath. You can carry it both straight (belt width up to 5.5 cm) or diagonally (belt width up to 6.0 cm).

Bark River Knives makes all of their knives almost entirely by hand. As a result, each knife is unique. Especially when working with natural materials, a knife will have a unique look.
