This **Atoma Diamond Stone Replacement** is a Japanese top-quality, diamond sharpening stone. It is the replacement sheet for the normal Atoma Diamond Stone that is comprised of a diamond sheet added to an aluminium sheet. After the diamond sheet has worn out you simply replace it with this replacement sheet.


## Atoma Economy Replacement: how do you replace it?


To replace the sheet we recommend you briefly heat the stone. Simply pop it in a tub of hot water for about fifteen minutes. This helps loosen the glue. Afterwards you can try to gently, while using a screwdriver or butter knife, remove the top layer from the aluminium base. Be careful here: as they often say haste makes waste. Once you have removed the sheet you might encounter some left-over glue which you can remove with some white spirit, acetone or thinner. When you do you immediately properly prep the base for the next step: adding the replacement sheet. Before you do it might a good idea to align the sheet at the front of the stone after which you can gently lower it and press it down.
