These three **Amefa Bongo steak knives** feel great in hand thanks to the extra broad handle. The edge of the knives is enhanced with a micro-serration. As such you can easily cut through a piece of meat without tearing it. The knives also look amazing thanks to the 'hammered' pattern on the handle.

## 13/10 stainless steel

The cutlery is made from 13/0 steel. The name refers to the percentage of steel and nickel. In this case 13% chromium and 0% nickel. Because of this composition the steel is rock-solid. As such they knives are a little more difficult to sharpen, but they do retain their sharpness longer. According to the supplier the steak knives are dishwasher proof. Do you, however, want to make sure they will stay in great shape for a long time? Wash them by hand! As such you make sure the colour and shine stays intact. If you do want to put the knives in the dishwasher, make sure you avoid aggressive detergents. These can damage the knives. We also recommend using a program with a temperature of 40˚C or less.
