Swarovski CL binoculars
The CL line is the compact side of Swarovski: binoculars you take with you because they do not get in the way. There are three sizes within the line. The Companion with a 30 mm objective lens, the Pocket that folds down to jacket pocket size, and the Curio as the flattest of the three. The smaller the objective lens, the less light comes in: that is the trade-off you make here.

Features of the Swarovski CL
CL stands for Companion Line, the line Swarovski builds around portability. The objective lenses are smaller than on the EL or the NL Pure, so the binoculars weigh less and fit in a jacket pocket or a daypack. You give up some light. In daylight you notice little of that, in twilight you do.
Three sizes within one line
The Swarovski CL Companion is the largest of the three, with a 30 mm objective lens and one central hinge. The CL Pocket folds shut on a double hinge into something that fits in an inside pocket. The CL Curio is the smallest and the flattest, with 21 mm.
What you use it for
A day walk, a trip, an hour at the edge of a meadow: moments when you sling the binoculars over your shoulder without knowing whether you will need them. If you are waiting for the light to fade, you are more likely to end up with the Swarovski SLC series.
Maintenance
First blow sand and dust off the lenses, and only then use a cloth. If you wear glasses, leave the eyecups retracted, otherwise you are too far from the image. Store the binoculars in a dry place.
